Students will schedule for classes with their counselor in late winter/early spring
The ACP Coordinator will enroll all students and verify that they have a cumulative G.P.A. of at least a 3.0 (or 2.7 with instructor approval).
IU ACP will email students at the beginning of the semester they will be taking their ACP course for instructions on how to enroll online to receive the dual credit.
It is the students responsibility to follow the instructions on their email to register for the dual credit.
More information about enrolling can be found on this website.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. How do I get my IU credits to transfer to the college I want to attend? If you attend any IU campus you do not need to transfer your ACP credits because they are already in the IU system. If you attend a college other than IU and you want to transfer credit for IU courses in which you earned a "C" or better then you need to provide your new college with an official IU transcript. Only credit transfers, your grade does not transfer. Click here for instructions on how to order an official transcript
2. What if I cannot remember my IU ID#? You can visit this website for help to recover your IU ID# 3. What if I miss the enrollment deadline? Unfortunately, if you do not enroll by the deadline, you will not be eligible for college credit. However, you may take ACP classes for high school credit only.
4. How do I find out what I owe to IU? You can visit this website for the IU Bursar's office and help with payment. All billing/payment questions should be directed to IU.
5. Does IU provide tuition relief for students on free/reduced lunch? Yes. If students are on free/reduced lunch, they must notify Miss George as soon as possible so she can verify their status and notify IU.
6. What if my GPA drops below 2.7 the second semester I am enrolled in an ACP class? You will only receive the dual credit through IU for semesters that you start with a 2.7 GPA or higher. If you are in a year-long ACP class and your GPA drops below a 2.7 for second semester, you will not be able to earn the college dual credit.
